I live in a assisted living complex which is security controlled by intercom system. I left concise instructions on entry and how to reach my apartment. Despite this they refused to deliver to the door. They charge £3.00 for DELIVERY and given that I live less than a mile from the shop (let's say £1 petrol), £2.00 for 4-5 work is pretty good wages. The entire order was just under £20 so I can only assume that they are making so much they can afford to throw that type of money away. So if you live in a complex that is large and intercom controlled, I wouldn't bother trying to order.
