I visited this restaurant about 2 weeks ago and ordered the full English breakfast. While I was waiting to place my order (which took quite a while), I overheard what I assume was the manager speaking very unprofessionally to a young female coworker. Despite this, I decided to overlook it. However, when my food finally arrived, it was soggy, lukewarm, and swimming in oil. It was so unappetizing that I couldn't even take a single bite. I usually enjoy supporting small local businesses and frequently spend my money at them, but I will not be coming back to this restaurant again.
The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was very greasy and burnt. The man working there appeared rude and disrespectful to the staff. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. Additionally, the food was soggy and the service was not up to par.
I am very parky when eating out but after two years of being a shop neighbour of Rob and his staff I picked the courage and ordered a chicken curry I had an option of two different style I picked Chinese curry and chips. Glad I did I got a lovely large portion of one of the best curry's I have tasted in years. The chicken breast was cooked just the way I like it. I woukd reccomend the food to every one. Thanks Rob The Orange Leaf on Hylton Road across the road from Oddies pub. 10 out of 10 from me.
