The Prospect - Sunderland

This was my third visit, and the restaurant continues to impress with its delicious food and incredibly friendly service. We will definitely be returning regularly.

We always feel welcome and enjoy delicious food at this restaurant, especially when we visit on Sundays. Just be aware that they may run out of certain meats if you arrive later in the day.

We had a family Sunday lunch and pre-ordered due to restrictions. We were able to choose a pudding to take home. The food was delicious with generous portions. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely be returning.

Can’t Wait For The Next Time. ! Sunday Lunch is made with love . The Roast meats beautifully moist. The plate was huge with extra, perfect al dente vegetables . Incidentally the Yorkshire Puddings are killer. Service is extremely attentive reflects the family who run it. They really care about their customers for sure. The surroundings of the dining area are really comfortable. There is also an outside area which is sheltered. Car Parking is very easy. too. Went in for a couple of drinks with my daughter and 5 year old granddaughter, staff were amazing. Everywhere was lovely and clean and all the relevant checks were made when we walked in which made us feel safe under the circumstances. The atmosphere was lovely and there was live music on. The food was spot on and i told one of the owners they were the best chips i have tasted in a long time (real chips). My little pug Elvis also enjoyed his meal as they were kind enough to cook him a lovely chicken breast with complimentary bowl of water. Looking forward to going back as its a very family friendly place.
