Yum Yum Donuts - Sunland

I decided to address my concerns with the cashier. I took the donut, pulled apart a piece to show her, and mentioned that I wasn’t trying to get a refund, but I felt she should be aware that these rolls did not seem fresh. Instead of being receptive, she became defensive and argumentative. One of her comments was, "They're donuts, and they're fried. What do you expect? Of course, they’re going to be oily." I responded that while I understood they were fried, they shouldn’t be dripping with oil and clearly weren't fresh. Her rudeness pushed me to throw away the donut and turn to my green juice, which was just as disappointing. When I tried to drink it, nothing came up the straw, so I opened the lid and found it was just full of pulp. Frustrated, I decided to leave. The service and food were both terrible. After reading other reviews, it's clear that stale donuts and poor quality are ongoing issues here. The cashier kept talking over me while I was trying to point out the quality concerns, even though I had every right to ask for my money back or a replacement. I didn’t take a picture of the donut because I was upset and tossed it in the trash near the register, but I did capture a video of the juice. I won’t be coming back. I could have found better service and food at 7-Eleven, where I actually have had better experiences.

The cold albacore tuna salad croissant was delightful, and at $9.49, it’s a reasonable price for such a tasty item. The six puff pastries, priced at $4.99, were just okay in terms of flavor. However, the large cookies and cream drink was fantastic—I really enjoyed it! Overall, I appreciate the service at this place.

I’m baffled as to why they would put a rude and disrespectful message on heart-shaped donuts for Valentine's Day. It's quite thoughtless, considering someone might want to give them to a loved one. What were they thinking?

The service is good and I love the coffee...the only detail not only for this establishment but for all of the same chain is that it is always a little slow from there.pal. rel well served and excellent coffee, very friendly bakers and cashiers
