Claret Wine - Sunnyside

This wine bar is a hidden gem in the neighborhood! I have been living in Sunnyside for 3 years now and I always come back regularly. The owners, Kevin and Jaci, really care about their business and the community. This is evident in everything from their food and wine selection to the variety of weekly live music they host. This place has the best happy hour in the neighborhood by far! My favorite dishes to order here, aside from their charcuterie board and flatbreads, are the truffle mac n cheese, mussels pil pil, and meatballs. If you're looking for a cozy wine bar in the neighborhood, this is the spot for you!

I went to this restaurant for happy hour and I am so glad I did! There were so many great options to choose from and the service was exceptional. I had a bottle of wine with a charcuterie board, mussels, olives, and pate, all of which were excellent. Jacki and Jen checked in on us and helped us with our choices. I can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu!

Favorite spot in Sunnyside! Claret is such a wonderful gem, and my husband and I have been regulars for years. A great variety of excellent drinks, beautiful space with a view of the trees in Sunnyside Gardens, and run by the best people. Jaci and Kevin are so kind and always make us feel like family. Every time we’re there we either see friends from the neighborhood walking by or they’re also going to Claret. Just such a charming spot with a personal neighborhood feel. It’s pretty perfect and always our go-to.
