I often came here because of food quality, but today was with her brotpakoras, which seemed to have no besan coating at all. as a result, the brot had dipped so much oil that literally had to use 3-4 fabric per piece to drain the oil so that I could eat it.
The best chaat in the Sunnyvale area can be found at this restaurant. I recently tried their Papdi chaat with chole and it was outstanding. The perfect balance of spices and ingredients made it taste just like it does back in India. I opted for takeout and found that I had to add extra yogurt and chutney at home because it became dry by the time I had gotten there. However, if you eat in at the restaurant, this should not be an issue. I am looking forward to trying more items on their menu during my next visit.
We were so regular when they had the food truck in the corner! Great food but damn expensive! In general, I don’t get why these chat places charge so much while much of the food required many common simple ingredients as most abundantly available in USA these times. All these chat corners should keep prices more affordable and aim for more customers with consistent quality.
This is a fantastic spot for chaat and other Indian cuisine. While prices may be higher than some other nearby restaurants, the quality of the food more than makes up for it.
