Garlic Naan was half cooked.Shahi Paneer was full of powder masala.Oil laden Aloo Tikki Chaat! I mean who puts so much oil on Tikki Chole chaat.Bhel puri was likley from some ready to mix Surati packet and quite old so it's mixture had released oil. You can make better bhel from those packets at home.Garlic manchurian was 2/5.
Ordered chicken wrap and aloo paratha!Taste was good, quantity was more than expected and the prices were moderate!Parathas were a little thick.
Not bad! I needed some takeout for a late dinner and this place was open til 10 PM. I called over the phone and came to pick it up. Easy process.A bit on the pricey size for the portion... maybe 12 oz?... but the dish was pretty filling! The Butter Chicken Masala was exactly as I expected. Creamy, tangy, flavorful, and had tender chicken. It's also a bit spicy. Keep in mind that the rice is not included with the dish. Some of the staff don't wear masks or wear their masks under their nose, so be aware of that. I may return in the future to try out their Dal Tadka or Paneer Pakora, but this is definitely somewhere I'd just order for takeout.
I gave this place two chances and they failed both times. First time, no one ever picked up the phone for a to go order. Went in person and waited 30 minutes. Food was barely acceptable. My non Indian friends said they liked it but I don't think that counts. The second time, again no one picks up the phone. I thought they were out of business due to COVID, so just went in person again to see if it was still open. Very bad idea! 1. They said the order would take 20 30 minutes. Waited 35 minutes and during this time multiple online take out orders were processed. I asked again and was told it would be another 15 minutes!! So, 50 minutes later I received the food. 2. As I left, was asked whether I had already paid for the food ! which, yes, I had because why would I still be here 50 minutes later if I hadn't paid for the food?! I would have left a long time ago. 3. The Butter Chicken Masala was extremely dry and didn't taste fresh. It's almost as if it had been cooked for the entire 50 minutes that I was waiting. 4. The eggs in the Egg Masala were old the yolk was over cooked and from the flavor, it was easy to tell the eggs had been sitting around for a while. The masala itself was very bland... No salt, no lime, just some generic mixed spice flavor with too much oil. 5. The Garlic Naans were extremely disappointing they were barely cooked and very thin the dough hadn't risen at all and were nearly impossible to eat but unfortunately we were hungry. Never going back here again...
