Homi Japanese Ramen - Sunnyvale

A unsuspecting chinese/japanese restaurant next to Saigon Seafood Harbor.Most ppl usually get the chinese food here which isn’t bad. The portion sizes are quite big but mostly because it is meant for family style eating where you share dishes.Ramen is more like a Taiwanese/Chinese soup flavor so don’t expect the Ramen to be Japanese Ramen here (despite the name haha)Lots of parking in the plaza but only one entrance if you are turning in from LawrenceService is alright, we went when only one server was available

If you order online, call them to confirm, I arrive 30 minutes after my scheduled pickup time, they didn't even see my order!

The food at this restaurant is reasonably priced and delicious.

This is not your typical Japanese ramen restaurant. While they offer some decent Japanese dishes, the ramen is not their specialty. However, the Chinese food they serve is quite delicious. I would describe this place as more of a Chinese restaurant with Japanese options, as the ramen is definitely prepared in a Chinese style.

I usually order the shrimp fried rice from this restaurant, but today for some reason, I decided to call in my order ahead of time. I called 24 minutes before arriving and was told to wait 20 minutes when I arrived. They offered me water and told me my food would be ready shortly. When I inquired about the wait time, the woman at the front went to the back to start preparing my food, even though there were no other customers in the restaurant. It doesn't make sense to wait longer when they already took my money before making the food. I think it's time to find a new place to get my shrimp fried rice.
