The only place in Bay Area where I have come across naatu kozhi chicken soup. Absolutely yummy and so flavorful. Perfect for a winter day. Kadai paneer , garlic naan and the Vijay vada biryani were absolutely delicious. New favorite Indian restaurant in town. Definitely will keep visiting again. Service was good too, very quick. Ambiance is very homey.
Generally food from Indian Tadka is good. But today it was horrible two standard dishes of north indian cuisine paneer Tikka masala and kadai chicken were unrecognizable. Paneer Tikka masala was a few lonely pieces of paneer floating in a yellow colored gravy that was tasteless and not even close to what it should be. The kadai chicken looked like it had been in the fridge for 5 days and reheated in a microwave.
The pickup time estimate was later than it actually took for the food to be ready.
I think it 's a promising restaurant, but not there yet. They have a great dream, but putting into reality takes management skills. They lack those. They are overwhelmed and unorganized. The thought that they can just push out of the door or something not quite right and call it done put them in the amateur lane. Because they 're too busy they think they will be ok to not quite get it right. Today I got butter chicken with bones in every bite. The chicken was hard. The other dish was way too spicy and blew my mouth out. I did not receive 2 other items I ordered. I had to ask for a refund. Do I want to go to this restaurant again? No. The essence of good management is caring. They need to care a little bit more...
