Kabul Afghan Cuisine - Sunnyvale

Our 9pm reservation was not honored as the kitchen was closed. This disappointing behavior by the management forced us to leave. If the kitchen closes before 9pm, they should not advertise reservations for that time. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

I tried the giant shrimp kabab and some appetizers at this restaurant. The shrimp was delicious, as expected with good quality seafood. However, the rice and bread were quite plain. The prices are on the higher side, but the portions are large. Unfortunately, all the appetizers were fried. Overall, it's a good spot if you're craving a lot of meat and carbs and you're hungry.

The food here is delicious. I highly recommend trying the mantu kadu dish. Even though I moved away from the Bay Area over 20 years ago, I always make sure to come back and dine at this restaurant when I visit.

I love Kabul Afghan and their food!! ?? Definitely try Ash and the mushroom qorma from the appetizers. I tried the Qorma-i-Tarkari, it was good! I wish the cucumber salad wasn’t as bitter! ? Definitely try the Dogh!

Chupan Kebab is the best kebab in bay area. Qabli Pilow is a must try. Don't miss it.
