Everything was fresh and delicious. Very friendly service, but I had to go to the counter to get the waitress's attention. Still, I Highly recommend.
The menudo here is excellent. You have the option to adjust the saltiness to your liking. The flavor is clean and mild, and it includes hominy. My mom ordered the chorizo and eggs, which were well-prepared and not greasy at all. I tried the machaca, and the shredded beef was tender and packed with the flavors of tomatoes and bell peppers. I highly recommend this cozy family-run restaurant. Also, the green salsa is delicious, but be warned—both salsas are quite spicy!
This is one of our favorite taquerias among many in the area. I’m not quite sure what their secret is, but their burritos are absolutely delicious! While a chicken burrito can sometimes be bland, theirs is packed with flavor. The al pastor is excellent as well, offering a unique twist on the typical flavor. Plus, the portions are really generous! The picture shows the half of my burrito that I didn’t finish.
This cozy local spot consistently serves up amazing tacos. I highly recommend trying their tacos and burritos (the plates are decent too). The al pastor and lengua tacos are truly the highlights. If you're in the mood for something a bit different, the carne asada fries are excellent! They also provide complimentary chips and salsa, with the salsa packing quite a bit of heat. Let's support local businesses like El Grullo during the stay-at-home order!
