Try to give the store life by playing music, or at least turn on the t.v. on. It's so quiet, i can hear the refrigerator running, as if I had bionic ears. Nonetheless, give them a chance, you won't regret it. Remember to support small businesses. Peace and Love.
My brother in law took me here while visiting Florida and it is not a huge spot. I wish they took pride to making the place a bit more appealing and even play some music while people are waiting. The place was packed and everyone was patiently waiting and then I realized why everyone was patient. The food was slammin! The service is a bit slow because the joint is always busy and they cook to order.Honestly, I don't know a logical time to call and go in and your food would be ready. You just have to be ready for it. We had the tassot turkey which taste just like griot. The sos pwa rouj was to die for. I don't know what they put in it but you can taste a different flavoring. It was so good. The stewed chicken was also good. I'll definitely be back when visiting.
Don't let the place fool you, the food will make you overlook that.
Best Haitian food in Broward County hands down. If you want a home cooked Haitian meal with the home cook taste this is your place. Everything I’ve tried from the griot, legume, chicken in sauce was amazing.
Went there and bought a legume, I paid almost $13 dollars and got only one piece of meat smaller than a dice. I don't get why some Haitian restaurants are so stingy with the meat. Didn't get my money's worth at all. It's a shame
