Rainforest Cafe Sawgrass Mills South Florida

I took a a long time to be seated . I had reservations but it reminding them numerous times that we had not been seated and we were on time

We made a reservation for pm. I was super excited as this is my favorite restaurant to eat at when we go on vacation to Disney. So to find out there was one near Ft. Lauderdale seemed great! Turns out the restaurant closes at We had no idea. They had reservation slots up until The staff was ticked that we were showing up so late. They even confirmed the reservation earlier in the day, but never said a word about that being closing time. The hostess and another waitress made extremely rude comments as we were being seated. Waiter was good but the experience was already ruined. Food then seemed not w great. We were both so uncomfortable, we just wanted to leave ASAP. It was expensive for a terrible experience. We were out celebrating the soon to come birth of our first baby but this location really put a damper on our trip

Rainforest Cafe was the best place to take my year son for his birthday! He had a blast and was really engaging with the animals around our table. Great experience

You don't go to Rainforest Cafe or TRex for the food. You go for the atmosphere the sensory overload of sights and sounds including the jungle, animatronic animals, thunder and lighting, etc. and the experience and of course for the kids who don't care about food. Very expensive but kids were very happy so in turn parents are very content even though food is OK. Prices should reflect the locale the experience is much different in an outdoor mall in Fort Lauderdale rather than being at Downtown Disney Disney Springs or Animal Kingdom in Orlando. Also, the menu was much smaller assuming it was a pandemic menu offering. My family and I had a very nice experience and will go back to each Rainforest and TRex in the future the reason we went to Ft L was because Disney was fully booked.

Place had plenty of open tables but they weren’t being seated. Must have been understaffed cause server was awful, and could see management walking around running food and clearing tables. Small menu cause of Covid. You pay for the ambiance, cause the food is mediocre
