Contribuisci feedbackWe had reservations at 6:30 p.m. on New Years Eve. My wife is a server and was her first New Years Eve off in 17 years. We were seated promptly and ordered drinks. Our drinks arrived after about 20 minutes, the waitress served my wife the wrong wine three times. We ordered appetizers and food off of the menu. At 7:45 our soups/salads arrived. At 8:10 we questioned where our appetizers were, the server paid us little or no attention the entire time. I went into the liquor store and bought a bottle of Champagne and opened it at our table to the dismay of my wife. At 8:20, half of our appetizer arrived and it was cold. When we questioned when we would be getting our main course, the waitress said that she didn't know where it was. At 8:30 we got up from our table to leave. FINALLY, the manager and waitress showed up and told us that they would pay for our meal IF WE COULD WAIT ANOTHER 30 MINUTES. I had to leave the restaurant because my hunger had fueled my anger 10 times what it normally is. They ended up giving the couple we were with a $50 gift certificate. We left $40 on the table and just left. This was, by far, the worst dining experience we have ever had. Due to the fact that my wife was off on the holiday for the first time in 17 years, this was really pathetic and unacceptable. We ended up eating bar pizza at a smokey dive, dressed up and all. Your establishment should be ashamed of this type of treatment.
The best Chicken Caesar Salad I've ever had! Period. End of history. I am so glad that I have to talk to the mastermind behind this plate, Brandon knows what he does!!! because I usually wouldn't order this salad. I usually find Caesar salads to bland and boring. Not this one! Smoked bacon made in the house, made croutons in the house, plus a caesar dressing, the compliments, instead of exaggerating the salad yes, made back in the house. Then Brandon explained how he makes the chips in the house I will not try to explain it, because I will not just do it, but only know that it had a baby like a chip and a waffle peace, and these chips are the wonderful, delicious result light, but tasteful! Order a must!!! The cherry above was the great service. Kathy was a fabulous bartender and server! She greeted from the moment I sat down and was attentive without being overlaid. She also made great cocktails! Overall, The Shack was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to coming on a weekly basis while in the city for work. They apparently had a rough jump while Covid, but Brandon others have worked tirelessly to improve things, and I am definitely impressed! I recommend that you try them too!
Good food, great service. Wait-staff are friendly, attentive and engaging. Clean vibrant atmosphere.
Long time local establishment has been reinvented several times over the years. I've been here a couple of times recently and enjoyed their smoked meats and local tap beers. Smoked wings and smoked pulled pork are very tasty.
I had the Brisket dinner and it was delicious. Staff was attentive and nice
