The Tarte In The Park - Surbiton

Fantastic little caffe, quality coffee and eating is a delicious. a wonderful place and a local secret. the park is an important part of the community.

Very nice little place with a large selection of food and drinks that is the perfect antidote to hunt my little one around the park next door. this place is from which Saturday mornings are made, a good family-friendly environment with a relaxed atmosphere and a small bake or a crafty bacon baguette.

This family-friendly café offers a baby playpen and toddler toys for little ones to enjoy. They serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, as well as sandwiches and snacks. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The coffee is strong, and the food is excellent—especially the bread! The bacon baguette is fantastic, and the croque madame is simply delightful (just like I expected!). I only tried the quiche Lorraine this time. However, it can sometimes feel a bit too family-oriented, as some parents treat it like a daycare or a home rather than a restaurant.

We visited Victoria Recreation Ground today and it was fantastic! The play equipment, provided by Wicksteed and other manufacturers, is excellent. We frequent many playgrounds, but not many have cafes, which makes this one stand out. The café is great, and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!
