The food was great, the venue was clean and modern and the staff were truly magnificent. We were away from the general public so that we didn't need to worry about disturbing them and the atmosphere was really welcoming and flexible. Merci.
This is quite a large modern restaurant, but the waiting staff ere great and the atmosphere was really fine. Choice of different buffet lunches very good value and loads of choice.
After a fantastic experience at the Campanile Hotel in Manchester we decided to use Campanile for our experience in Paris but the difference was black and white. The room is very basic but i guess you get what you pay for. No English channels on the tv and the interior door didn 't fit in the doorframe so it wouldn 't lock. No air conditioning so we had to keep the window open all weekend which is very noisy due to being situated on the main road. After a long walk back from the Eiffel Tower we just wanted a tea or coffee but that was another problem, the waiter served my wife a cup of tea in a cup but my coffee was served in a mini mouthful cup, after paying we soon realised we had no milk but the waiter had disappeared, we asked the receptionist for milk and she said you cant have any because the restaurant isn 't actually open. I thought to myself they are quick to take our money but not quick to help us . We went up to our room to see if we had some coffee on the complimentary tray but only had one coffee and one tea so we decided to save them for later. Couldn 't get the wifi to work after being given wrong directions on how to link it up. For the price it is the most basic cut back hotel i have stayed in, there are better ones nearby for an extra few quid.
I stayed one night and I booked with breakfast, unlucky me. Impossible to have an omelette or an egg. Only one type of cheesse is this real France? . La viennoiserie was bought from Lidl . One coffee machine was broken and I queued up for 10 mins. I will never come back.
I only stayed for a night for business and admittedly I have no choice since it was dictated by the company but it has left me with a GREAT impression! I walked into the lobby and the atmosphere was great (at about half past nine in the evening). He music at the bar isn't too loud but have a really nice feeling to the whole place. The reception lady was so so lovely, and she made sure I have all the information (it's my first time there) and confirmed with me that everything has been paid for. I was given the room by the lift and I have no problem with that, and it looks like it's slightly larger than the others. I love the splash of lime green in the room - make it brighter without giving someone anxiety. The main light with the red background made the room glow in a weird way but it doesn't bother me - I think it's quite chic! The bed was comfy and I definitely needed he extra pillow. The cups are very considerate - it's got foam on the outside so it won't burn your hand! It did worry me a little in the bathroom because under certain light the towel looked cream rather than white, and I was thinking it was weird that one towel is white and the other is cream (not normal for a hotel to have mismatched towel). The free wifi was a little slow, but enough for business use. The check out process was quick and easy, again the receptionist was so amazing and friendly. I'd give it five star if the room doesn't look so "tired" (I think a redecoration is due soon) and the wall is a little thicker. Also if there are more sockets that would be great.
