This place is awesome! Food is consistently fresh and delicious. The portions are filling. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Make sure to save room for dessert! The cheesecake chimichangas are a must! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

Terrible Tex Mex and slow service. We went there for dinner tonight and ordered 3 dishes, 1 kids menu item and the other 2 were recommended by the waitress as a must order fish tacos and the chorizo burrito. Both dishes were disappointing. It took 30+ minutes to get our 2 dishes and the kids menu item was cold when it came to the table. My fish tacos were drenched in sauce (not tasty), so much so that the taco fell apart as I was picking it up and it overwhelmed the dish. I'm wondering if it sat in the expo window too long because I was basically eating soup in a corn tortilla. My husband and I both had two bites and asked for the check pretty quickly after the food was placed on the table with no request for boxes. Neither dish was comped and the dinner was pretty expensive for something we didn't eat. I can understand not comping food if we ate half of it but we left 95% on the table. I really liked the vibe of this place and the outside seating was a big draw but I'm sorry we ever stopped to try this place. Another review says it's an LBI institution and I'm still trying to figure out why. You might as well save the money and go to Taco Bell if you want the same quality of food and service. Steer clear because it's obvious they don't care about the food or the customer service/satisfaction.

Sorry everyone has an opinion sometimes more than one Had dinner there last night with friends who requested Mexican The food is fresh, the service is always good and although the menu is not that extensive, it's good easily discernible quality Mexican food. Been eating there for many years back to their original location Had the BBQ Pork Quesadillas , which they frequently sell out of , and it was real good Again just my opinion but their food is good, fresh, not complicated and reasonably priced .
