Pancakes on The Rocks

Visited last night after eating terrible Mexican food elsewhere. We had the strawberry pancakes and a regular stack. Yum they were light and fresh definitely would go again

Walked along beach for 8 kms from The Sheraton at Main Beach and were looking forward to breakfast at Pancakes on the rocks, Headed straight for the 'The Dawn' offering Bacon, Scrambled eggs and a Hash brown.The Bacon was fantastic the Scrambled eggs were enjoyable but the golden Hash Brown, which looked ever so appertising and tempting from the outside was extremely disappointing.Underneath that golden brown outer surface was an oil soaked pile of soggy potato, by the time I was half way through the rest of the meal there was an oily puddle oozing out from the hash brown.Brought the subject up with both the waitress and the check out attendant, they explained that was just the way the cooked it, pouring spoon of oil over it on a hot plate.We certainly will not ordering any more Hash Browns from Pancakes On The Rocks at Surfers paradise

Very expensive menu, food delicious, great service by at least three of the attendants. We'll be back for breakfast.

Great clean restaurant, service was great and helpful , prices were good and pancakes were delicious.

The staff is friendly and the shop is clean. I ate the pancakes sprinkled with chocolate sauce and nuts. It was not too sweet. It was delicious because there were two women. Even though I ordered a small one, it was a lot.
