Pizza Hyena - Surfside Beach

Came here with my family for dinner while on vacation. Had the best experience! Our Server Jordan was very on top of it and very nice! The pizzas were delicious as well as the wings! We even got the cheesy bread appetizer which was outstanding! Definitely coming back!

My husband and I went in for a quick bite and we were certainly pleased. I don’t normally leave reviews, but the food was great and the service was wonderful. Everyone was in a good mood and we didn’t wait long at all. Next time we are in town, we will definitely visit again! Thanks, Pizza Hyena!

Food was great,service was greatGreat bar area, seating inside and outsideEmployees really know what they are doing. Friendly and helpful.Parking: Paid parking lot across the street. It’s only 2 bucks for an hour or 10 bucks for all day. They said after 7 pm it’s free parking.

I ordered online and was told my order would be ready at 7:53pm, which was a 1.5 hours wait. We expected that but left early in case it was ready early. Walked in at exactly 7:53 and was told it would be another 20 minutes. It was very crowded inside from both order in and take out. We walked around until 8:13, exactly 20 minutes, and waited inside for at least 10 more minutes. Granted we ordered on a Saturday in the summer during rush dinner time, but then an accurate estimate would be nice.All pizzas are personal size and it consisted of mostly crust. The workers skimped on sauce and toppings. Was decent but not entirely filling. I wouldn’t say it’s New York style pizza because of size or taste. They did offer a gluten free crust and dairy free cheese so that is a huge positive. Decent but not great.Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten free crust and dairy free cheese

Nicole was our server very serious. Ordered the Margherita pizza it had unripened tomatoes, both red yellow. my tomatoes on my patio r better than these. the tomatoes on the outside of your hyenas patio were yellow probably where they came from. food average at best. Freschetta frozen pizza from the grocery has more flavor! All pizzas need more sauce and less toppings.. Hyena bucket was best part for $15. lots of juices 3 rums. parking difficult w/ close hotel. $86 for 4 pizzas. a lot for 4x 10 pizzas.
