Bamboo Surf Beach Resort - Surigao

I discovered the fantastic George and his wonderful wife's place while scootering around the island. Wow! As soon as I saw the beachfront rooms, I immediately booked a stay for the next two nights. You really can’t get any closer to the ocean and the stunning beach than this. The room was modern, featuring concrete floors, a comfortable bed, and plenty of privacy. The restaurant offered reasonably priced food, and the mango chicken curry was the best I've ever had! I highly recommend Bamboo Surf to anyone looking for a peaceful, secluded getaway away from the hustle and bustle of GL.

One of the best places we stayed on the island! The room was incredibly cozy, comfortable, and spacious, offering an amazing view of the beach. The owner and staff were friendly, kind, and attentive—truly helpful and genuine people. We had some great conversations with them. We also really enjoyed the pizzas we had during our stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Pacifico or some delicious food, you should definitely come here!

The staff is incredibly friendly, the place is clean, and the food is excellent! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Super nice resort restaurant right at the beach front. Our post-surf-lunches were absolutely delicious (try the pancakes veggie curry). Georg, the owner, was very helpful.

Can not recommend this spot more highly if I tried. great location for surfing and just for relaxing in general. the owner is a loveable German chap who went out of his way MANY times to ensure we were taken care of and felt at home. even so much as to share his amazing single malt whiskey with me. as a Scottish man I was not disappointed with his selected. he knows his stuff! BOOK.
