Lokal - Surigao

This small local restaurant on Siargao is known for serving the best cocosis. We decided to visit because of their renowned ice cream, although it is not vegan. However, to our surprise, they also offer vegan options. Of the two we tried, the cocosnusseis was the standout. The three pack options (falafel, sweet, and curry) were all delicious and satisfying. They recommend that two to three packs make a meal, but depending on your appetite, one or two packs may be enough, especially the "Nußvenggie." At only 70 pesos per package, it's an excellent deal. In addition to the packs, they offer smoothies and fruit juices that we didn't get to try. If you're in the area, this restaurant is worth a visit for a tasty meal.

In fact, coconut ice is the best of the two we tried. If you are open to go for a non-vegan contract, then this is worth it. Friendly staff. Appropriate price. The packs really taste good! You also have this special sauce that goes really well with the packaging, but be careful as it is a little sharp. I haven't tasted coffee yet. Maybe next time.

What a little hidden gem, away from the main road. Many places to park your scooter also nearby. We had the Adobo and the Ginsoy Rice/Egg Combo and they were absolutely beautiful. Really local cuisine cooked by local people. Small menu, that is, they can really focus on the food they serve and it really shows. Very cheap, for two people food and drinks it was 640php (not including tip) but for what you eat, you would have thought you would pay much more.

On the way back to GL. Recommended coconut ice cream.
