Nick's Diner Ii - Surprise

Service super. Portions large. Prices reasonable. I had the club with lemon soup. The club was huge with a real Ham Steak. The soup was fantastic. My wife had fish and chips. The bread was a little thick for her taste like the fries. The Cole Slav was not too gooey and had a hint of sweetness.

We really wanted this place to be delicious. It was just average. The country potatoes, the eggs, sausage, and the French toast slices were simply average. They weren?t bad, they just weren?t great. The potatoes could have used some seasoning. There?s not much you can do to an egg, so I can let that one slide. The French toast slices looked like they were going to be amazing, but it ended up being spongy if I go back again, I?ll try the biscuits and gravy and maybe the country fried steak, but this was nothing to write home about. It has a lot of space in the restaurant is very clean. The staff were very nice.

The country fried steak was well cooked and still had a crunch which was nice. The over medium eggs were cooked well, though I asked for them to be more crispy. The ?hash browns? country potatoes were the best things on the plate. Well seasoned, crunchy and not dry. The kids pancake was large, and plenty for my growing kiddo. 9/27/22 The owner replied stating that I need to communicate what I want and that the servers aren?t mind readers. They were not rude but I?m very confused. I DID ask that my fried eggs be crispy and it wasn?t. The bacon was crispy which I like, it wasn?t a complaint. I put ?hash browns? country potatoes because some people still call them hash browns. Your food wasn?t bad at all. Just not something I haven?t had at other restaurants. Read the reviews more carefully. 3 Good but no separation from similar restaurants 4 Set themselves a part and their food is different and I want to go back. 5 You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

Best breakfast spot in surprise! Great biscuits and gravy. Their sausage is off the hook! My son loves their pancakes and French toast. Great service and great staff! I highly recommend this place for breakfast. I haven't been for lunch but of their breakfast is great so will their lunch!

Calm and friendly environment. I had the Greek chicken wrap and it was really good. The service was good as well. Unfortunately they didn't have any flavored tea on hand and also don't do cold coffees, something to look at adding to the menu in the future to appeal to a younger crowd.
