The Crabtree - Surrey Heath

Visited for Christmas lunch. We were seated promptly, table nice and spacious. Table decor lacking, a paper white tablecloth with a runner. Very few condiments on table considering the party size and no water available on table. Service was average, staff not unpleasant but not particularly friendly or welcoming considering it was christmas day. The food was mediocre, very average frozen roast dinner portions were small and there was barely any gravy. Asked for more gravy and some cranberry sauce for the table and was given a tiny jug of gravy and a small pot of cranberry for a party of 14. Overall found the visit disappointing and very poor value for money. Drinks also very expensive, around £26 for a pint and 4 soft drinks. Would not recommend going for Christmas Day.

Useless Sunday lunch. Uncooked veg, over cooked tasteless meat, small portions which was actually a plus as it was disgusting. And to top it off my drink glass has lipstick on the rim. I emailed this establishment but I wasn't listed to unfortunately. Please do yourself a favo and spend your hard earned money in a decent place.

Sunday lunch booked for 1.30 35 minute wait on beef and told initially no Turkey either! Then they had Turkey which took 55 minutes to deliver to our table which totally detracted from the wait on beef message! To deliver half a floret of broccoli 2 carrot sticks, frozen stuffing ball, 2 frozen roast potato’s, pickled cabbage one slice of Turkey ad a Yorkshire for 11.49!! Freezing cold!

Great place, working local I pop in everyday for lunch and happy with my visit every-time. Clean welcoming and appetising food

Went for a late lunch so not busy, waited at the bar as lady was serving and another women jumped the queue and we were ignored. Took ages for the food (not advised there was a wait) and every time went to the bar there was nobody there serving and took ages for somebody to come and serve us. Then our puddings were just forgotten about and took longer than the dinners. This isn't the first time especially with the puddings taking longer than the dinners. Lovely food and great pub just service doesn't match, disppointing.
