Contribuisci feedbackOn a sunny Saturday, we finally visited the new Hugo's Mexican Kitchen located on Fraser Highway in Surrey, near Claytonwood Gate. This stylish restaurant features bar seating, high tables, and regular seating, creating an airy and open atmosphere. The staff was friendly and patient, answering all of our questions. We were treated to complimentary house fried tortilla chips with three delicious salsas. We took advantage of their happy hour menu, ordering Sopesitos, Tostaditos, Churros, and a Jack Fruit Taco. The tostaditos were topped with pork, black beans, lettuce, pickled onion, cheese, and crema, making for a messy but delicious experience. The Sopesitas had a tasty corn masa shell with similar toppings. The Jack Fruit Taco, a vegetarian option, was savory and served with traditional taco toppings and pineapple. The menu offers a variety of interesting dishes, including options with beans and rice. There is something for everyone at Hugo's Mexican Kitchen. Highly recommended!
One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants we have been to! Hand made tortillas, churros and chips. The guacamole is a must try! It?s a family owned and operated business and the staff is incredibly friendly! We will definitely be back.
Amazing place to get rich, tasty, amazing, fresh and big portioned mexican food in town... Me and the girlfriends thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks. The hawaina was the best margarita I've had,, and they had the watermelon margarita as a special for Cinco de Mayo.. and the person who made our food was very good looking????beautiful friendly people served us today and our bellies were full... it has been an extremely delightful visit to Hugo's today
I lived in Mexico for 11 years so I?ve tried all kinds of Mexican food. Food was pretty good, would recommend trying! I?d recommend the burrito ahogado, the tacos looked pretty good too but I didn?t have one. Not expensive, but I didn?t think the value was there. In my opinion, the menu pricing needs to be re-evaluated.
AMAZING! This restaurant is seriously phenomenal. It feels like we're in Mexico. They have a wide variety of delicious vegetarian options that are surprisingly vegetarian-friendly. You would never guess that the chorizo and queso dip is actually made with tofu chorizo and vegan cheese. I will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend the guava margarita as it is absolutely delicious.
