The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. It was packed when we went, but the authentic and unique flavors are worth the wait. The customer service is excellent and the interior of the restaurant is beautiful. They have a variety of traditional sweets to complement their dishes. I highly recommend the chicken tikka, kebabs, goat Paya, nihari, and chicken biryani - they are all outstanding. If you've never been before, this place is a must-visit and you'll definitely want to come back for more. I also tried their Halwa Puri buffet, which is the best in the lower mainland. Just be prepared for a wait as there is always a line.
The puris at this restaurant are top-notch! They are big, fluffy, and crispy, making for a delicious breakfast or brunch option. We tried the Saturday halwa puri breakfast, which came with chana masala potato curry. The halwa was excellent, and we also enjoyed some fish. The menu offers a variety of chicken, haleem, goat, and more. The decor may not be much to write home about, but the service was friendly and prompt.
We ordered takeout last night and asked them to ensure that the meal was mild as we had asked on previous occasions and it wasn't mild. The lady on the phone instantly told us that it is not possible and didn't bother checking with the...chef/management. We got our order and of course it wasn't mild at all unfortunately our kids couldn't eat it. Hope the restaurant can be more accommodating as other restaurants.
All sauces tasted the same. Dishes do not taste the same as their name suggests and likely made from the same base. Service is average and there is no ambience. Will not go back.
