Mr Pickwick's Fish Chips - Surrey

This shop is in my neighborhood and I continue to support it. Seems to be owned and run by a couple. Fish pieces are big and fine. Fries could be a lot better though. Whenever I get them home they are always kind of limp and soggy, not crisp and golden brown which would be ideal. Maybe they would be crisper if they were not wrapped up in paper with the fish before I got them home just a couple of minutes away, I don't know. I know that lemons are more expensive these days but they should include a couple of wedges regardless because this is standard and once they gave me lime and I thought that was comical and I think the last time I got neither. Limp fries are the biggest downer though. Restaurant inside looks pleasant and appears to be kept neat and clean.

Best fish and chips around, and the portion size is huge! We always order the lunch special, 2 pieces and homemade chips for $7.95 until 3 pm daily. Excellent homemade tartar sauce, nice light batter and not greasy. Fish is always fresh! We buy 3 orders for 4 people, affordable for a family. The family that runs the business take pride in the food, and are always pleasant to talk to.

Excellent Service!. We decided to have fish and chips pretty late on a Tuesday. The manager kept the store open past closing for our arrival and served us with a smile. That's the best kind of service. Plus the food was great!!

Went there today for there lunch specials my bf and we both ordered the 2 piece fish and chips. I found y reasonably priced for fish and chips. Not the Best in the world but I enjoyed it and will be returning soon... Would love to hear more about the other items on the menu from others.

Went here with my boyfriend and family. The service was great, everything was fast service. The portion of the fish we're huge! But the fries we're a bit disappointing. The fries just felt soggy for some reason, but the fish wasn't at all. The fish did its justice that's for sure! We even ordered two appetizers, calamari popcorn Shirmp. The appetizers were also a lot. Definitely would recommend just sharing here if your coming here with your family.
