Had to renew our passports so decided to grab a bite to eat right across the passport office. I've been to the location in Richmond for dimsum with previous coworkers and from what I remember it was good quality, but just high priced. We walked in and ordered yeungchow fried rice, and few dishes of dimsum as well as mixed mushroom plate. There is no wonton house from inside the mall, you'll have to go outside of the shopping centre and walk through. They also do not serve wonton in this side so the hostess will ask if you want dimsum, and if that's the case you get directed to another side door. The fried rice was almost $18 with tax but was worth it. What we thought would be a $60 max lunch ended up waaaay more but we were actually satisfied with the quality at the Neptune Seafood house. Would I come back? Possibly, but was a bit overpriced, ESP when we didn't get really any seafood. Will review the wonton house seperate
Good quality dim sum here. It's a fast paced restaurant and you can get in and out pretty quick. It's a little on the expensive side but the food quality makes it worth the extra few bucks. It's kid friendly with high chairs available. Decor is very nice as well.
Been here several times.. The Dim Sum is excellent... fresh, and tasty,,, Service is great,,, quick to respond. Lots of hot tea.... order arrives exactly as you order it. I'll be back again and again.
Came here with my girlfriend for a birthday celebration. We ordered their dinner special for 2 at $68.95. There was so much food, it was enough to feed an army or more. Lots of leftovers. The special came with house soup (a melon soup) with lobster on top of fried rice that was steamed. Fried rice had bits of meat and corn. Also included dessert which was tapioca with squash. I didn't like it because of the idea of eating squash in a dessert doesn't appeal to me. The lobster was a good size with big pieces of meat. In addition, we got to order two more dishes from at least a list of 10 other dishes. I love that idea as you often don't get to choose on a set menu. We ordered the fish dish on top of broccoli and the other was spicy deep fried calamari. Barely made a dent on the 2 dishes. They have other set menus for larger parties. There's one set menu that is practically everything lobster. Great for seafood lovers. Overall food was tasty which you would never see at the restaurants in Vancouver, and definitely good value.Wouldn't mind trying dim sum next time!
