Ocean Park Donairs - Surrey

Great food! The Tandoori chicken was impressive, featuring plenty of chicken served with a generous amount of lettuce. The sauces were delightful. The chicken rice plate was tasty, although the chicken could use a bit more seasoning. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to visit in the neighborhood.

The quality was lacking, and the food didn't taste fresh. Rather than receiving my donair meat sliced hot and fresh from the kebabs, it was simply reheated in the microwave.

I ordered the gyro rice platter, but the rice tasted like instant rice that cooks in just five minutes. It was also unexpectedly sweet, which completely spoiled the dish for me.

Unfortunately, I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. This is definitely not a proper donair. The meat was stale and had an unpleasant odor, so I didn’t even bother trying the rest. It all ended up in the trash.

There are no donairs here. If you enter a donair shop and find no donair on the menu, you should just walk out. Staying was my first mistake. My second was actually trying the boiled chicken breast—or whatever that was—which has predictably led to the worst food poisoning I've experienced in years. Consider this a warning to everyone: as my body struggles to get rid of this meal, just stay away. This place needs to be reported.
