I consistently request to omit the Saba (Mackerel) from the platter and substitute it with any of the other 4 fish options. When dining with friends, we never fail to order the combination of tempura, gyoza, and edamame. Don't pass up the opportunity to try it yourself!
Went out for dinner as a family. You have the option to have black rice with your rolls rather than white rice. Great rolls, udon. Fast service. Clean. Small place.
This cozy little restaurant offers a diverse menu with options like sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, combo dishes, udon noodles, and more. They accept credit cards and even provide complimentary hot tea. Enjoy your experience here!
I haven't been to Rokko in a while, but I returned the other day for dinner and once again was impressed with the exceptional quality and authentic flavors of all their dishes. This small family restaurant continues to consistently serve delicious and unpretentious Japanese cuisine. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and have never had a bad meal here. While they may not be the most upscale Japanese restaurant, you can't go wrong with their food!
We were looking for a place that had Japanese food on a budget. Tried this place for the first time and overall the experience was pretty good. The box dinner had a good variety and the price was very reasonable. The portions were on the small size but proportional to the price. Overall, acceptable Japanese food and the menu had a good variety. We ate in, but it seems to be very popular with the take out crowd. It looks to be a Mom and Pop joint. Overall a good experience.
