The Keg Steakhouse & Bar - Surrey

La viande n'était pas cuite comme on l'avait demandée et ce, pour nos deux visites dans ce restaurant, ce restaurant étant sencé être un steak house ! La garniture n'était pas très bonne et le prix est bien trop élevé pour une qualité qui n'est pas présente !

My wife and I have eaten here several times. Most recently we dined on a monday at 5pm,,,is quiet at that time. Our server was excellent and attentive. Will be back for sure. Our family likes this restaurant also.

We went to the Keg in May to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered the Prime Rib. It was so tough and hard to cut with a steak knife. I let our waiter know and he replied our Prime Rib tends to be that way. Great! My wife had a steak and it was just OK. Over the years we have been to the Keg many times. Just not the same.

We booked an early reservation at the Keg for 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children) for a low key celebration of my parent's 50th Wedding anniversary. It's a fave of theirs so seemed like a good idea. We asked for a booth to have some privacy and comfort (and also, to somewhat contain our 8 and 5 year old). It was perfect. Lobster summer is on right now but none of us were feeling like lobster, so one order of escargot, two prime rib classic dinners, ribs, 6 oz sirloin, two kids meals - steak and fries & mini-burgers. They brought out a slice of Billy Miner pie (on the house) and we ordered another slice (because they are so good, but man they are huge - one place where the dessert is a decent price and never gets smaller as the years go on) and creme brûlée (because my daughter has recently discovered it and loves it). It was a great meal. I had the 6 oz steak with loaded baked potato and it was done perfectly. The only curiosity was that the ribs had very little sauce (healthier maybe? but my husband would have liked a little bit more on there). Of course, complimentary fresh and warm bread with whipped butter and the kids received a snack plate to start (carrots, celery, dip, orange slices and crackers - kept them happy until food arrived).Service was excellent. A great place to celebrate a milestone or just because. Thanks for making our night special.

Granddaughters 12th Birthday dinner - well the kitchen let us down or quality control did, either way it was a disappointment for herIt was an early dinner - just after opening at 5:15 on a weekday, no excuse for portion size being what it was - not even enough to feed a small birdFirst - kids menu needs better selection(s) - she ordered bbq chicken with veggie The piece of chicken breast that came was dried out and the size of a 2 year olds palm and then 8 large pieces of asparagus spears - REALLY This was no a good portion combination and needless to say she left hungryThank you for the Billy Miner piece of cake - she did love thatOur server was awesome but the kitchen really needs to buck up - it is not a cheap place to eat
