Our first experience at Veras Burger Shack on Fraser Hwy was for take-out. We ordered two Canuck Burgers, both with no relish but with added pickles, along with an order of fries and onion rings. When we got home, we discovered that both burgers had relish but no pickles. The customer inputted the correct information, so it was not their fault. The burgers had good flavor and were quite satisfying. The onion rings were tasty, but the fries were mediocre. Overall, for the price we paid, we felt we would have gotten better value at McDonald's.

Not quite the special burger place they once used to be. Staff were friendly enough. Service was quick. Got lots of fries with order but they were the small duds as I call them and they were too crispy....like dried out in the middle. Burger...price added up quite quickly too with topping choices. Probably won 't be back.

I ordered the Vera burger with a side of fresh cut fries. The burger was mediocre, with a slightly stale bun, but the beef was good. The fries were a letdown, not looking like fresh cut fries at all. It seemed like I got the scraps from the bottom of the bag, with short, crunchy pieces. It filled me up, but I'll be trying other burger places next time.

It was a burger. Jalapeño burger, good fries good service whatever. A bit expensive, however whenever you're indulging in adult beverages....
