White Spot Restaurants - Surrey

The food and service were good but there was a girl clipping her nails right beside us and playing peek a Boo with a cousins baby for far to long for someone that wasn't invited

I was disappointed in my food ... fish and chips...it seems White Spot has changed the batter for their fish...it was a lot thicker and greasier than before...then the chips were like from the bottom of the basket...plenty of little bits and pieces. Not what I have come to expect from White Spot.Service was very friendly and quick.

Whats happening these days, no gardeners? Garbage under the trees at the entrance, and no garbage cans anywhere outside. Clean up your entrance, its important. Your not the only restaurant that doesn't seem to care anymore. Often I see new places being built,new plants being planted,then, all that expensive landscaping is left to die.

So I have been in the hospitality for over 20 years. The reason I come here is my kids love the pirate packs. We entered and waited 5 min before anyone acknowledge us. Then we were seated and the hostess immediately took our drink order and brought it over very nice. Server didn't seem happy to be there and her attitude was horrible we were seated at a booth which had a view of the pass where the food comes out. As I noticed our food sitting there for over 5 minutes and watching 3 staff members pass I ordered Humboldt squid by the time it came out to me it was not crispy and it was soaked in the oil. Because it sat there It seemed they just through it on a plate. The rule of thumb is to do a quality check after customers taste and it was probably 20 min i felt we were just a hassle Where the food comes out it says are you proud of it? If not don't serve it! I guess there was a missed opportunity at the time of delivery. With prices of food rising. The staff should have a little more care about the food serving. For myself and my 5 and 8 year old it's almost 70 dollars for lunch. Coaching your staff and doing a little more quality check would be helpful. Thank you. My kids love the milk shakes.

Came here for fish chips, what I usually enjoy when I’m in Whitespot. The meal came fast and the fish was way overdone and burnt. When asked by the hostess how everything was I told her…. She came back and said the kitchen was made aware of it and “ sorry ‘bout that”Eventually the waitress with the blue fingernails) came by and asked how everything was when I was just finishing my meal… said she heard about it and walked away.She brought me the bill and change and charged me full price and quickly walked away.Waitress didn’t seem too cordial at all, personality of a dial tone.I always tip but this time I just couldn’t bring myself to tip.Don’t get me wrong I have been to this particular place a number of times for delicious food , good variety.Better luck next time I guess
