Hoost - Surry Hills

Booked here for a catch -up with friends and couldn't have been happier. We selected a bunch of dishes from the small and large plates menu. Special mention goes to the pumpkin, so soft, melty and sweet; the bone marrow in a beautiful crust to give it that perfect crunch; and the kangaroo and pork dumplings that had a surprise chilli hit to spice them up. It's a small space that works well with a friendly and relaxed team. Extremely happy with my experience and would definitely go back.

Had a very enjoyable breakfast here however they don't have a coffee machine and only serve filter coffee which was a let down. The dinner menu looks good and the meal we had was very fresh and full of flavour

We had been seeing this small restaurant for quite a while and finally got around to trying it out. Wow, what a find. The menu was initially challenging, with a few unfamiliar ingredients, but everything we ordered was prepared with sophisticated cooking methods and ended up delivering refined tastes and flavour explosions. Not good for a quick snack but great value if you are interested in food and appreciate what you can do with it. Delicious!!

This is a great concept in the wrong city, just when we've all gone mad munching on a burger bonanza and craft beer.

I had walked past this restaurant for two weeks and it looked interesting.
