The restaurant is licensed and also allows BYO, with a selection of Lebanese beer and wine available. Try adding lemon and salt to the beer for a Mexican twist. La Souk caters to various dining preferences, offering quick bites such as Lebanese chicken rolls and wraps, as well as an upcoming burger option. They also have an a la carte dine-in menu and banquet options available. Feast on a variety of dishes from the menu, including pita bread with dips like baba ghanouj, labne, and hummus, along with crisp fries. Don't miss the sambousek, a crispy Lebanese dumpling made by the talented elderly woman, Saada, in western Sydney. Enjoy classic Lebanese salads like tabouli and fatoush, with the latter featuring crisp fried pita and mint for added flavor. Favorites include the BBQ chicken with garlic sauce, pickles, pita bread, and delicious chicken salt seasoned chips. The chicken tawouck, a BBQ'd chicken skewer with a tasty spice rub, is a must-try. Other traditional dishes like falafel, kafta, sujuk, spicy chicken, and beef shawarma are also well-executed. Visit this exciting addition to Surry Hills' dining scene for a casual meal featuring all your favorite Lebanese dishes and more.
Was looking for a place to have lunch on Easter Sunday but not a restaurant and not many places were open. The food was okay but not exceptional. The chicken was dry and was done Portuguese style. The pickles were extremely salty but the fries were good. Service was efficient
I wouldnt recommend sujuk as it was not nice. Chips was cooked may be 10 times before come to our table and it was the worst part of our stay.Staff were nice, nice place too in terms of athmosphere of the restaurant but i do not think to go there one more time!
Chicken was dry and tasteless. Very small portions. A bit expensive for this sort of food. Very nice decor tho. Won't be in rush to go back.
