Mille Vini - Surry Hills

Service is bad. One of the waiter says to me when I ask if there is bruschetta (in an Italian restaurant?!), "do u see that on the menu" and roll the eye. When I ask if there is pale ale relays "we are a wine bar" Food is terrible as well. 32 dollar risotto taste like bar food. Not recommend

Situated in the prime location of Crown st Surry hills, this place does some good Italian!  We had a few starters to share, all of which were very delicious and decent sized. I had the duck ragu for the main, very flavoursome. I think the pasta was hand made with great texture. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Went here with a friend for afternoon cocktails which turned into dinner..  Was absolutely blown away by the simple yet impressive menu of this little wine bar come restaurant. The decor is stunning..   next time i'm going try the tasting menu..

Loved the Salumi bar .. and the Venison tartare with the Fantini Sangiovese ... delicious..  Staff friendly, great knowledge of wines  and attentive. Will be back for sure.

I recently dined with my partner at Mille Vini. We've been here before and enjoyed the pasta's  so decided to once again have a pasta dish. My partner ordered the pappardelle duck and I the vongole pasta. We were both disappointed, the pappardelle tasted anemic, it lacked the punch it did before and the vongole pasta, unfortunately, was falsely advertised for they were not vongole, more surf clams. (there is a difference)
