Nutie Surry Hills

I've visited this restaurant several times, and you absolutely need to come at least once. The service is excellent, and my food arrived incredibly quickly. The dishes are fantastic as well. In addition to the regular menu, there's a selection of vegan cakes on display that are incredibly tempting. The variety of sizes and flavors will make you want to buy out the entire display! I absolutely love Nutie!

The staff was extremely friendly, and the location had a charming, cozy vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed the loaded sweet potato; it was delicious and packed with flavor. The peanut butter and brownie donut was moist, but personally, I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. I also tried a cold brew, which was quite refreshing and paired nicely with the sweet donut.

I used to live nearby and I really miss it. Their vegan cakes, donuts, and lunches are so delicious, and I loved their chai too. We would be thrilled if Nutie opened a sister shop in Europe! This is an update to my previous review from July 11, 2022.

All the cakes, tarts, and slices I saw in the display were vegan. I returned a little later and picked up a Ferrero slice, which I shared with my travel companion along with some tea. It was quite enjoyable, and although it was light and mousse-like with just a thin layer of dense chocolate, I must admit that by the end of my half, I was in a bit of a food coma! Overall, it seems like a very good vegan cake shop with a wide variety of options.
