Place is also extremely small with only few sittings inside. If its a bad weather I wouldn't even bother as you not gone get in.And come on guys when you ADD toast to breakfast for 2.5 you kind of expect full peace of bread, not chop off from last customer.
This little coffee shop is so popular that we came on a Saturday at noon and queued for over an hour. The waiter is very attentive, always reminding us how many people there are in front of us, so that we will wait patiently. The brunch served here has elements of Turkish cuisine. I haven't eaten authentic Turkish food, and I don't know what Turkish food should be, but I think the food here is very unique, not some ordinary mashed avocado toast, eggs benedict coffee shop dishes. The special drink, Chocomole, is a chocolate avocado drink with chopped pistachios and honey. The avocado flavor is not very strong, and overall it is more like a smooth chocolate milkshake. The signature dish here is Bosphorus Benedict Istanbul Eggs Benedict, named after the region of Turkey. Turkey toast is the base, topped with tender lobster meat, mashed avocado, house-made hollandaise sauce, poached eggs, garnished with coriander and chopped chilli for an exotic flavour. The biggest feature of this dish is the addition of lobster meat. There should be no coffee shop that uses such expensive ingredients! Also ordered the smoked wagyu beef jerky, which was a little soggy and not well done without the Istanbul Eggs Benedict. Overall, this coffee shop is worth visiting again, and I want to try other dishes and special drinks on the menu.
A friend was eager to introduce me to this Restaurant and I was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the service is great and the food well we had to share 2 different meals as the servings are huge . The down side is that it is very small so check best times to go but please go
This place has a very interesting breakfast menu. Always great to re-visit and try something else on the menu. Go before 11 am as it starts to get busy from then and you may have to wait to get in. Go and enjoy an interesting breakfast. Service that matches the food - all good. Don't go and expect smashed avocado on toast, it's not the sort of place. They may do you avocado, but why waste your visit, try the menu ... yumm
We were at the Surry Hills library and came to the Rustic Pearl because it was next door and had good reviews in Trip Advisor. It did not disappoint. I had a pumpkin and eggplant salad and my partner had a Melemen (turkish style scrambled eggs with tomatoes) and turkish coffee. Everything was delicious, innovative and healthy vegetarian. Service was courteous and efficient. It all cost AU$ 40.
