The Devonshire - Surry Hills

We had the degustation menu. Every course was nicely cooked and beautifully presented. We especially liked the pork belly with crispy tail, really delicious. Nice environment too. Highly recommended.

It's worth a visit for the degustation, with the desserts being outstanding and the matching wines with each course mostly excellent. The early dishes are decent as well but the pork and beef main courses were a letdown. As others have mentioned, there are at least one too many crumbed items as well.

We ate at the Devonshire on a Saturday evening with friends - 3 of us had the 'normal' degustation and 1 had the vegetarian. We took the matched wines too. This place is amazing! Great food, good wine, attentive and extremely knowledgable staff, and a wonderful boutique setting. The only disappointment for me is that it has taken so long for me to discover this hidden gem. I will definitely be back! Fabulous!

Excellent restaurant away from the Sydney CBD, the food was amazing so was the services, a very decent and interesting wine list as well. Highly recommended for business entertainment as well as a nice evening with your love ones. I will definitely go back for the tasting menu next time. Thank you.

This was our 3rd visit but some 2 years since we last dined at The Devonshire.It did not disappoint. Faultless degustation dinner. I am amazed by recent reviews lamenting small servings - the portion sizes are generous if anything and very interesting flavours. We do not normally go for the matching wines but could not look past such interesting choices which did not let us down!If I lived locally I would go twice a month! An absolute must see for any foodies / wine aficionados in the area.
