The ferry ride adds a touch of excitement to the experience, making it all the more enjoyable. The crab dip is superb, and the hush puppies, shrimp, and burgers are delicious too. Plus, the view is absolutely stunning!
I discovered this gem during a recent trip to Williamsburg. The crab dip was outstanding, and everything else I sampled was equally delicious—the crab cakes and shrimp were fantastic as well. Everything was very good!
Surry Seafood's first visit. The food was excellent. I had the seafood salad, very tasty. There were four of us and we were all full and happier. The staff was on everything and the outside seats were great. Nice place to eat. Take the Jamestown ferry makes the trip even better.
The food was amazing! I had the blue crabs for appetizer and the peace Captain Platter. The best seafood on the James River!! I definitely come back. I'd just suggest doing half a plate. It was just too much, but it was all so good!!
The baked flounder and bacon-wrapped salmon were both underrated choices on the menu. Some of the crab claw meat tasted frozen. It seems the fryer oil wasn't hot enough, as the fried items ended up being quite greasy. The service was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the prices were reasonable.
