We noticed a few empty tables in the outdoor dining area and requested to sit there, but were told there were no tables available. As we looked over the take-out menu, a white couple arrived without a reservation and also asked for an outdoor table. They were quickly seated outside. When I inquired about this, the waitress explained that she believed the couple would eat more quickly. She even rolled her eyes at us. This seemed unfair as she had no way of knowing what they would order. Glancing at the menu, I saw that there were many beer options but the food selection was nothing special. Not wanting to cause a scene, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, there isn't much else to do in town.
Friendly atmosphere and good bistro food. Could have a bigger choice of beers. The staff is kind. I'll definitely go back.
The relaxed atmosphere, exceptional service,Wood beer,Where to go.When you're in a good reddish beer with wrap chicken apple and brie !!!!
This place has a wonderful following...many have raved to me about how much they enjoy it...and, still, after two visits, I'm trying to figure it all out.Maybe it's the cute building and terrasse, situated in beautiful Sutton...maybe it's the affordable menu, with standard pub fare...maybe it's that craft beer is all the rage right now?On paper it all sounds good...but, I've given it two tries...and am still steadfastly underwhelmed...I can't summon up the enthusiasm others have. The food has been fine...extremely standard pub fare...well priced too...but nothing to rave about either. The service, although friendly, is not particularly diligent or attentive....on both visits, it's been hard to get that second drink ordered. And on both visits, they have been out of stock on something...on the first visit, it was white beer (???) - how can you run out of beer on the Friday night of a long weekend...especially when you brew it yourself?? On the second visit, it was no dessert - at lunch time???But, you know....I think if you lived right in town...you would rave about it...a pub in town is always a good thing.
Beautiful discovery for me! the quessadillas were beautiful! The child's plate was generous and I was happy to see that it contained beautiful colored vegetables. the service was pleasant, the waitress was smiling and she explained the menu well. I'll go back one of those days to try one of their fabulous burgers.
