Dreggen Kro Vertshus - Svelvik

You need to be slightly hungry in order to enjoy the huge portions of ordinary food. Sitting on the dock heightens the experience but don't come here expecting a gastro pub. It's very ordinary at its best. But the staff are really friendly and it seems a very popular place for the locals. The ambience beats the food:

A charming place with nice atmophere. Possible to sit outside at the seaside when the weather is warm. I want a hamburger, but this was no upper clas dry and very expensive. The hamburgers from gas stations is much more tasteful, and cheeper.

We ordered a pizza here, wich tasted very good, and our host was a nice danish man who were very nice and friendly. The prices was ok.

After driving around the south of Norway for 5 days with friends, staying in self catering accommodation and eating 'cheap ' pizzas from Kiwi, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal at a restaurant. We were met by the friendliest Barman ever and had an amazing steak each. We were all blown away by how reasonable the prices were and were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Highly recommended if you 're in the area.
