I visited this restaurant for the food. It was quite crowded, but ordering takeout was a breeze and the service was quick. The staff was friendly and spoke English. We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying here. The service was excellent, the room was spotless, and we even received a complimentary breakfast delivered to our door. We read in another review that the bar downstairs serves the best burger in Sweden, and we can confirm that it was true. The cocktails were also delicious. Furthermore, the location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of Åre and next to the train station. We highly recommend this place. I looooved it at Parkvillan! Location, interior, breakfast service! just felt overall super taken care of! What was super nice was that I could use storage/bathroom/shower even before check in and after check out! Absolut game changer! I only stayed one night, so I spent all of my second day up on the mountain and I could then take a shower and have a clean and comfortable onward journey! all you created an amazing place truly! We each ate a Villan's cheeseburger. It was very good, juicy burger, good bread, good fries, well put together. It was a little poorly laid out but good. The service was a bit so-so. He was very quick to take order, he spoke very fast and slurred and it was hard to hear what he said. We sat in the outdoor area on the glazed veranda. It was cold when the sun had set and they didn't start the heating units. Indoors, it probably looked like it did 30 years ago. The toilet was missing a hook on the wall and there was some paper on the floor. However, decor etc. followed the concept of a good beer place. Summary is that it's a good beer place, nice atmosphere, good food (which also goes well with beer), we'd love to go there again! Service: 2 Location: 4
