Maybe they can choose, starter or dessert slice if they like small. the location is not very cheap, about 20 minutes to walk from the center of svolvær.
Beautiful, authentic place, good food. starter was the fish, the best piece we had. the day was monkfish, was a little dry, but ok overall. for dessert we had burned cheesecake, was not similar to in san sebastian, but it was ok. we can't say it's a price for a place, but it was okay to try once.
Absolutely delicious. we have naturally tried the fish and the fish of the day (half in our case) the combination of aromen was exquisite in both cases. the biggest surprise came with the mandeleparfait, which was something special (fenchel, olive oil, white chocolate. but amazingly good.
We ordered the appetizer taste of lofoten and the main catch of the day, fish and wal steak. the food did not give a great impression (also to go out in norweg.) but the sections are considerable. the service was average, we had to ask the waitress to explain the dishes.
The atmosphere is magic in this very old authentic building in Svinoya island. Perfect match of traditions with modern twist!
