(Ideal for cyclists as bike rack is located right outside). The lunchtime menu included either Eggs Benedict or the Avocado Smash so I opted for the latter. It was delicious and surprisingly filling as well as reasonably priced. The young guy serving at the counter and waiting on tables was really polite and welcoming he almost persuaded me to have a tempting slice of coffee and walnut cake but I had to resist because of needing to ride on afterwards! During a quieter moment, the chef and proprietress came out of the kitchen and chatted to customers and was likewise really friendly and helpful. There was a nice relaxed family atmosphere and a couple of young children enjoyed eating with mums and grandparents. All very clean and tidy, wouldn't hesitate to come here again! I popped in for takeaway coffee cake. The coffee walnut cake was full of walnuts really moist tasty. Flat white was good price was good for the quality.
Sadly we only came second, but that was the only down side! Great snacks and fun quiz with lovely people in a great fun venue
Hot pot was delicious followed by toffee cake Yum. Lovely helpful staff that served us quickly and well. Usual welcoming reception.
We were in the area and decided to grab a snack at this restaurant. The food was decent, but the service was extremely slow. Our tea was served in a traditional teapot. The cafe appeared to be overwhelmed, as they only seemed to handle one order at a time. A local minister even offered to make his own coffee.
