I had heard about a previous experience and the expectations weren’t high. When arriving, immediately before I had even had a chance to look at a menu I was asked if I wanted some entrees. The whole situation felt rushed and pressured. We ordered Oysters, now having two public holidays in a row and the location it was a questionable choice. The oysters didn’t smell fresh and after trying them we decided not to eat the remaining. We quietly and politely moved the remaining onto the empty table. The manager came over and questioned us about the oysters, personally I felt he was very defensive, telling us he had never had anyone complain about his oysters before. We never complained we just politely said they weren’t for us and were still happy to pay for them. I do rate the eggplant chips they were delicious, however that’s about it for what we liked. For the mains we ordered the lamb shank, I instantly had food regret once I had my first bite. The mash potato had no flavour, I actually thought it was packet mash for a short period of time. And the lamb well you can see my pics for that. It was severely over cooked, I could barely cut the meat off the bone that’s how tough it was. We ended up not finishing the food and leaving. So overall would not recommend this place.
Friendly staff, owner personally on the ground serving customers and ensuring that everyone is looked after, great food at very reasonable price, clean, efficient. Pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant in this calibre in a small town. Served twice there, both good food and excellent service. I highly recommend if you are in town for a day or a week.
Absolutely fabulous meals I had to apologize for the sound my taste buds make. Fabulously delicious and the staff. Just as accommodating. Thank you, Jess. and everyone will see yas soon. Take care of yourself.
In the city for a night of Melbourne. The product exceeds expectations and the staff is friendly without being overlaid. Good stuff. After several stays in the city and food in any pizza trip, this is the best pizza in Swan Hill.
An absolute pleasure to have died with John and his staff, we have died here early in the week and we were not disappointed, the staff was friendly and the food was fast on the table. We returned later in the week to try out the gelato and it was equally incredible, I never liked Gelato in the past, but thanks to this experience; I'll be safe, back.
