The Waterfront Swanage

Considering these guys have only just opened up after an enforced shutdown period due to reduced staff (due to Covid isolation), and so not everything was available from the food/drink menus, the staff were still really friendly and the place had a nice relaxed feel overlooking the sea. Recommend.

The staff were all wonderful friendly chatty and welcoming from the word go. The decor is nice, classic/modern and well laid out. The view from the balcony area is to die for. The food is absolutely delicious. I mean REALLY, REALLY delicious. My wife and I ordered a selection of small plates and ate the lot. Delicious local food as well as some classics and unusual finds, I cannot recommend eating here enough.

The restaurant has a fantastic location right by the water. The staff is lovely, and there is a wide variety of drinks and dips to choose from. We treated ourselves to coffee and cake, and it was delightful.

We had a wonderful day with the family! There are so many charming little shops filled with trinkets along the beachfront, and the park by the coast is a lovely place to relax.

I parked my sailing dinghy on the beach, only to have kids climbing all over it to play. After making my way to a table in my damp wetsuit, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The food and drink were also fantastic. I highly recommend enjoying drinks on the balcony or having lunch or dinner indoors. I deducted a star because I ended up dripping water on the floor since I was still in my wetsuit. I suggest getting dry before visiting!
