It's a waste of time. Rossi's, which is just 5 minutes down the road, cooks everything fresh. Fish should always be cooked fresh so that the batter doesn't end up rubbery. All the other chefs cook the fish fresh, except for the lazy Polish guy here.
Ever since the new management took over, the restaurant has greatly improved. I recently had 2 large fish and chips and the quality was much better now. I would highly recommend it.
The sausage in batter was undercooked and cold, so I had to throw it away. However, my jumbo sausage was delicious - freshly cooked and hot. The chips were terrible, tasting like they were washed in dish soap and were not cooked enough. The curry sauce was cold and oily, and the rissle tasted expired. I will not be returning due to the disappointing and disgusting food.
Great value for money, well cooked fish and chips. regular Chip portion is huge. There is a good selection of sides including Irish Curry Sauce , whatever that is.
This has to be taken on the fact I only had the chips but so many places really don't cook them that well. These, however, were great chips. Well done them!
