Contribuisci feedbackPurchased package of fully cooked , gluten free turkey Italian style meatballs, and they were the worst I 've ever had! They were too salty, did not taste Italian (I am Italian! . and tasted as though the meat was not fresh when prepared. Have been very disappointed in frozen meatballs, so will just have to make my own batch and freeze them. So much for saving time and energy at 91 years old.
Those who know me know that Im a big fan of the cured and aged food arts. Especially if they have to do with meet. Lou's has bacon, hams, sausage, deli meats, salami's...the list goes on. recently tried their no nitrate/nitrite turkey salami. Fairly lean, not too spicy but still flavorful. I need to score some of their Genoa and Sporessata products for good measure...
