Skeet's Texas Grill - Sweetwater

Stopped by for lunch after visiting the WASP museum. Started with fried mushrooms, then had supreme nachos and fried cheesecake to end. Good flavors, quick and friendly service. Right off I-20, so good for locals and anybody driving through.

My husband had the ribbon steak with a baked potato and salad.He enjoyed it cooked Correctly, I had the Chicken Fried steak, mashed potatoes and salad excellent service. Good food, nice. Find when you're on the road.

I read a review that said “You should drive out of your way to try this place” so I did. So glad I did. Went around 2pm so their lunch rush was out the door already. The server was Erica I think? She crushed it. I let her order for me. She picked the chicken fried steak, loaded baked potato and the beans. I’m from San Antonio, so was nervous about the beans, but I was wrong. Those beans taste like my abuela makes. Fire. The baked potato was great, not hard at all. The CFS was ranked top 10 in Texas, and I see why. Great portion and amazing taste. Not dry at all and really crispy. 12/10. I pass thru here every 6-7 weeks and now they gotta customer for life. Amazing

Foods good, place needs a thorough cleaning. Service could have been a little better.

Saw review chickenfried steak so wife and I stopped ate one. it was a really good.
