I had a delightful discovery in Swelledam. The food is truly excellent!

Had some of the best pizza in the western cape! nice eating, that is good price and very beautiful outdoor vibes

Delicious steak! Family say the pizza was also yummy. A good night out, plenty of time to drink and catch up before the food arrives.

Quality of the food is very good and portions are large. The atmosphere is fantastic however the overall experience was marred by extremely slow service (1 hour from placing order to delivery. I had to go find a waiter after waiting a while) I ordered a medium steak and got a very well done offering. Will I be back? I doubt it considering all the options available in town.

I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant. We sat down for 20 minutes, and both waiters saw us but continued to ignore us. Eventually, I had to get up and grab a menu myself. Two other couples arrived 15 minutes after us and received immediate attention and menus. After a few more minutes of waiting without any acknowledgment, we decided to leave. I couldn't help but wonder if I had somehow missed a "whites only" sign. I will definitely be reporting the staff's behavior.
